Juniper Berry Oil


Juniper Berry Oil is obtained through steam distillation of berries of Juniperus indica. The plant is small bushy shrubs or tree, 3-35 feet in height growing at an altitude ranging from 8800 to 15,400 feet in  Himalayan region of Nepal . The berries are plucked from the branches of the plant once a year and dried and ground before distillation.

The essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of the crushed dried or partially dried, ripe berries (fruits) and leaves of Juniperus cummunis. L.

Appearance

Mobile liquid.

Color

Water white or very pale yellow.

Aroma

A fresh, yet warm rich-balsamic, woody- sweet and pine needle-like odor.

(b) Medicinal & Aromatherapy use:. Good for Acne, oily eczerna, dermatis, seborrhoea of scalp. Colic, flatulence, indigestion, cystitis, fluid retention, pyelitis leucorrhoea, scanty rheumatic pain, anxiety, insomnia, stress.
